Farm Fresh Eggs

The hens raised at Tanrackin Farm spend their days outside and are free to enjoy bugs, graze on grass and enjoy the warmth of the sun. Some are not free range because of predators so they are kept in a fenced in area and are fed vegetable scraps along with grain and cracked corn. Their nesting boxes are cleaned every other day and the shavings in the coop are changed every other week (depending on how dirty the coops get each week) and we rotate their pens each year.

Our flock of chickens are Rhode Island Reds and lay brown eggs.
